Real estate investing around Seattle WA,

I am very motivated to get into real estate, doing research to get my plan in order. I am in the Bellingham/Seattle area where young people are flocking too and there seems to always be some new apartment complex's being built or a string of homes. I know it expensive but the opportunities are endless.
