Forming partnerships when new to Real Estate?

Question

I'm currently a university student with no experience in real estate yet.  It is quite intimidating asking someone to trust you in finding a deal & managing the property without any previous experience while using their money.  Any tips to know when you are ready & can trust yourself not to mess up?

You've come to the right place here at BP. There's a wealth of information here that will help you get started. If I were you, I would start by visiting the Small Business Administration website. This article goes over what you can learn there and why it is the best resource for people starting out in real estate investment. Also, there are a few things you need to know as a student about real estate investment. Although this article is about millennial student investors, it definitely applies to you as well. After looking over this info, go through as many articles and podcasts here on BP and make sure you're as knowledgeable about the industry as possible. Here's a good resource for where to start your education.
