Local REIAs in Chicago I could Join?

Hey everyone!

I have been doing all I can to start beginning my process of being a real estate investor. I have read many of the bigger pockets real estate books already and many of them talking about growing your circle. This is exactly what I'm trying to do by finding a local REIA in Chicago! Appreciate it!

@Mason Adelman there are many great local REIA groups in Chicago. You can find them on the network tab here on BP, or you can go to meetup.com. I run one in Forest Park that has been going for a few years. You should check out the one @John Casmon runs in the city. @Brie Schmidt also had one going for a long time on the north side.

@Emily Heimerdinger we thought about going in person, but have decided to stay virtual for the time being as it just didn't make sense yet. Hopefully now that there is a vaccine we can think about going back in person next year, but we will definitely always keep the virtual component! @Mason Adelman - Meetup.com is always the best place I've found to look.  You can go on there and just search real estate and a ton pick up.  There are only a handful of actual good ones though and @John Warren named a couple of them.
