Top Real Estate Broker to work for in Houston?

Soon to obtain my Real Estate License.

I am eager to find the best broker in Houston to work for that is geared toward property investments for their clients.  A fast paced brokerage with great coaching, training and mentorship.

Hi @Alex Smith are you looking for a brokerage that mainly works with investors to help them look for deals? Or a brokerage that has other investor/agents that use their license for sales and investing themselves?

Although the two can go hand in hand, they are quite different when it comes down to the specifics. Some agents focus solely on working with other investors to help them find deals and list flips, while other agents got their license as a way to improve their own investment business and grow their portfolio. You should decide which one of these two types of agents you want to be, then pick a brokerage that has other agents with similar goals as yourself.

I was in your position not too long ago and got my license to build an investing business as well. I was lucky enough to find a team that had some of the most knowledgeable real estate entrepreneurs in Houston.

I'm sure that they'd be more than happy to meet with you so you can pick their brains. I've learned so much about business and real estate investing just by being around and working with them. A collaborative environment where like minded people can mastermind is crucial to success in my opinion.

I second this question. Specifically looking for a brokerage that I can hang my license for personal investing. I have a W2 job and am evaluating brokerages that align with my investing goals.

This is a loaded question....

It’s all going to depend on what you are looking for!

Go with a brokerage that is going to partner with you...

Here’s some thing a to ask

- what are the companies goals for you

- how or what programs do they provide for new agents

- what are the splits and file fees

- do they have monthly fees

- do they provides signs

- do they provide any technology

- do they have an office (if you want one) do you have a desk fee

This is just the beginning.... there are plenty of more... just remember they want you.... you are hiring them... not just the other way around
