Furnished or Unfurnished Bedrooms?

I will be doing a house hack, and plan on furnishing the living room since I will live there. But I am wondering if I should furnish the other bedrooms. Will I get more renters if the bedrooms are furnished or unfurnished?

I think it really depends on what type of tenant they're looking for. A furnished room is more likely to attract students, people who will be in the city temporarily and young people who are just moving out on their own. If they're looking for a long-term tenant, then an unfurnished room is often more attractive.

I agree with furnished, but keep in mind some may want to bring their own furniture in which case you may need a place to store your furniture.  Any time you have people moving in and out, you risk more damage to walls and doors.

One benefit is you don't have them moving their own furniture in.  If you want someone for a year, try posting rooms for rent at universities or colleges if you have any nearby.  If you want to allow shorter term, you can charge a bit more rent in exchange for the shorter term.

What if I want someone that will stay for a year or longer?

and would a month to month leasw deter finding long term tenants? I still want the option of getting rid of a bad tenant so dont want to start with a year long lease. Maybe month to month then transfer to year long.

My impression is that if someone is looking for a furnished room, the lack of a bed would be a con. People generally want furnished because they're here temporarily, so they don't have to buy things/move them/have to deal with them when they leave. You can live without a dresser or a desk, but a bed is kind of an essential.
