Mobile homes....rehabbing and selling...any ideas?

We recently moved to South Carolina and started looking at houses at 40k and under...so we could just purchase without a loan.....then we realized the amount of mobile homes in this area and wondered if that market would be something we should consider....we have bought and renovated one house back on New York before we moved..didnt make much due to months of rent not getting paged to us..but not discouraged and ready to try again...we want to work our way up to having a rental portfolio....any advice would be helpful
