Buying a Property with Smoke Smell

Hi @Prachi Metha, depending on how bad the smoke smell is will depend on how much you need to do.  I would first start with opening all the windows for a few days to air it out, then scrub the walls.  If you are going to paint anyway, prime it with a Killz odor blocker primer first.  If it is still stinky, you may need to replace the carpeting.  Those are the main places that the smoke smell will cling to.  Hopefully, you need to do those upgrades anyway so you aren't spending more money than you need to.
