Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge STR interior design choices
I am about to build a new pool cabin in Pigeon Forge and I'm a little torn on which design to go with in the interior. I know the cabin should have a lodge feel at minimum, however I'm not sure if a hybrid look with both sheetrock and tongue & groove wood would be better than 100% "wood out" tongue & groove pine look. Nearly every cabin I see has the 100% T&G. I'd like to go with the option that would get the best rental numbers in today's market. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Both can definitely work so I'd go with what you want and what fits your decor style. The one bad thing with sheet rock is that it damages way more easily than T&G... but it can also feel more homey in a bedroom.

My first time working with her, I gave her a budget and a list of rooms. When the day arrived, she backed up to the house with a huge truck and a team of guys. She kicked me upstairs and wouldn't let me come out until her team was done a couple of hours later. The cabin turned out way better than I expected.... and that's why I'm now a fan!
