Do you ever have tenants that are completely clueless?

Yesterday a new Indian engineer moved into a place with 2 other engineers that had been renting from me for the last 3 weeks.  The first thing he asked me was "Who will be preparing my food?"  I told him the stove is over there, and all the cooking utensils are in the cabinets.  Then he asked me how the stove operates.  I showed him the top loading washer and front loading dryer.  He didn't know which was which.  Then he asked me what to do for water.  I'm pretty sure this was his first visit to the U.S.

Hey @Paul Sandhu I have never had tenants with that low of an IQ yet. Those are some really crazy stories. This reminds me of the movie Step Brothers. The scene where the step son Dale  (John C Reilly) meets his new step mother for the first time. The first thing he says is "Hey Nancy can you make me a grilled cheese sandwich? " Dale's dad says "No, Dale just ate he is testing you to see how much he can get away with" Dale then says "i'm hungry" all while having a sandwich in his hand lol.

It's possible they are testing you. It's more likely however that they really are that clueless. Soon they will be asking how to flush the toilet.

I always try to rent to tenants that have lived on their own before who know how to do their own laundry etc. In my experience the tenants that have lived with mommy and daddy and not in the real world yet can be the worst.
