Hello, I’m looking to have a discussion with someone that owns more than 50 units in the Madison or Milwaukee area. I am a 21 year old engineering student that is looking into developing! I’d love to learn from an experienced investor. Please drop a phone number or we can chat in this forum.

@Hayden Pratt - as you probably know from my profile page we specialize in single family homes in the suburbs and target families with kids who value school districts. But that does not mean this is the best strategy! It was just the best for meat the time, I was travelling internationally for work all the time and needed an investment that is as passive as possible. I believe it is important to specialize. I also don't feel the need to buy many doors or larger buildings; my personal goal is the most revenue, equity, principal with the least amount of tenants. Like most investors I started slow, I did not have anyone guide me, my agent was very nice, but that was about it. Took me a while to develop experience organically and acellerate our growth. You have BP - read as much as you can! And David can tell you about his journey, he had some bumps in the road and mastered them very well! Thats how you really learn. You can read a book about swimming, but at some point you just have to get in the water.
