VA appraisal affects FHA or conventional loans?

I'm selling a property, everything looked great on paper, got a good offer and then VA appraisal came in much lower. Buyer can't come up with difference, so I'm prepared to walk away but I'm scared about the appraisal being stuck to the property for six months and if VA appraisal can affect future FHA or conventional loans? Will FHA or conventional lenders have access to that appraisal for instance?
