Ready to invest and build my team! 💪

Hi all! I'm a 25-year-old investor originally from Chicago, IL. I'm now living in Washington DC and have family in Savannah, GA. I'm exploring options to invest in Savannah or the DC/DMV/Baltimore markets. I've spent the last few months educating myself on REI and finally feel ready to start to take some action.

Full time, I work in technology consulting and website creation.

I'm looking to connect with people in Savannah, DC, and Baltimore, as I set off on finding my first deal. I'm excited to start on this new journey and am eager to learn from you all!

Ideally, I would love to BRRRR a property, but am worried about finding hard money to initially make an all-cash offer on a place. I have enough for a down payment and rehab but will need some help funding the entire purchase price. Would love to hear suggestions from folks!

Welcome! Finding hard money in Baltimore isn't a problem if you have good deal, I promise you that.

Baltimore is a great place to BRRRR simply because the cost of entry is pretty low (at least as compared to the DMV, not sure about Savannah). Just be careful to properly comp your ARV for refinance purposes - it can be tricky to pick the right comps without knowing the city.

Good luck!
