Milwaukee Multi-Family Neighborhood Help

To all my Milwaukee members…I’m making a quick trip to Milwaukee to check out the area for a future multi-family investment. Can any Milwaukee locals give me a few neighborhoods I must check out?

My budget is under $250,000 for a 2-4 unit duplex.

Thank you

@Joe Matthews if you have never been to Milwaukee drive the city from east to west, for example from Shorewood, to Riverwest, then down to Washington Heights, Wauwatosa. This gives you a pretty good sample cross section of different qualities neighborhood from great to worst and back to great.

West Allis is one of my current favorites for quality sub 250k duplexes. I would stay away from 4 families in this price range, very low rent per unit. Also check out YouTube for some visuals about Milwaukee!
