Septic System Costs for New Single Family Home
Hello,
I am planning to build a new construction SFH in Tennessee and was curious how much I should budget to purchase and install a conventional septic system? I have heard numbers from $6K-$15K. We want to make sure our budget is as close to the final number as possible. Thanks for your help!

It's best to get the county to do a soil analysis which should be a requirement. Once that is complete, you can send to a couple of septic installers to get some bids. Conventional and chamber systems are the most affordable. Here in NC, I normally spend approximately $4500 for either but if the soil is poor if you have limited space, it could get a lot more expensive.
