@Benjamin Sussman @Jeremy Luster @Rina D. and everyone else - nice to meet you! I'm also an investor in the area, and am a part of @Matthew E. Parrott's group. I'd highly recommend joining that to meet others in the area.

In regard to questions your questions Rina - I think you can generally find good COC returns relative to most markets, but with less appreciation. I haven't heard of any vacancy issues since there is a rental shortage. Rent amounts vary, but can be between $500-2000 per month depending on the unit type and size. Hi everyone! Newbie investor here with two out-of-state rentals acquired earlier this year. Currently exploring and considering South Bend for our next rental. Would love to hear the experiences of those who currently own rentals in the area! What kind of COC returns are you seeing? :) Rent amounts? Vacancy issues especially in this pandemic?

I live in South Bend, Indiana and at the moment we are looking for Multifamily here locally. We had a single family rental we sold and used Cressy and Everette for property management.
