Standalone pedestal sink in the bathroom

I have a stand-alone pedestal sink in the bathroom that is not connected to the wall nor the pedestal. Behind the wall there appears to be places where it once was attached. Would I be better off hiring that out or fixing myself?

I have some experience such as installing new faucets, patching drywall etc but I am not the most handy. Would it be better to just hire someone to come take care of it?
