Buying "Estate of" Pre-Foreclosures

Hi all,

I've been looking a number of pre-foreclosure properties with deceased owners. In many of them, there is not a relative posted on the property records anywhere and doing obit searches seems like there may be no next of kin. Now, these properties, since in pre-foreclosure all of attorneys attached to the case and is listed on the record.

Has anyone had luck using the attorneys as an avenue to purchase the property, if so, would you mind sharing some things to be aware of doing this and any successful strategies you may have.

I'd also be very grateful for any other advice on how to go about purchasing properties in this situation.

Thanks!

RW
