New Investor in Milwaukee Wisconsin

Hi! My name is Derek Steinmetz and I am a new investor in the Milwaukee area. I became an involuntary landlord in 2011 when I had to move out of a condo downtown that was underwater and I have been renting it out for the last two years. I just purchased my first duplex in the Hawthorne Glen neighborhood (Hawley & Vliet) which which I will be owner occupying.

My goal is to become a buy and hold investor in Milwaukee and/or the near suburbs. I would love to acquire one more property by the end of 2013.

I have been reading a lot on the site recently and wanted to introduce myself to the group. I would love to meet other Milwaukee area investors. I am sure I will learn so much from all of you. In my day job, I am a financial analyst and have pretty advanced excel skills, so if anyone would ever like some help in putting together proformas, budgets, or property analysis spreadsheets, let me know.
