Newbie CT Flipper trying to break in

Chris Capone
Posted

Hi,

I am a new investor moving into the fix and flip space in CT. The market is suuuper competitive currently. For example I put an offer in last week that I thought was pretty solid and found out I was the 2nd lowest out of 16 offers! To date I've put in 5 or 6 offers for "on market" properties, and haven't even received a counter offer back.

I am currently exploring networking with wholesalers, networking groups (both in person and online), county sheriff sales, marketing to off market preforclosure owners, looking for FSBO on craigslist, and FB marketplace.

I'm wondering if there's any other resources I should be using/researching to find out how to win in markets like mine, any suggestions?

or better yet any CT flippers here that know what I'm talking about? and how have you overcome the competition?

Thank you in advance, I look forward to any and all feedback.
