Looking for a career in real estate.

I currently own and manage 22 duplexes, and a small business.  There is so much down time I would like to get in with a larger firm and work on large projects.   I don't really know where to start. All the people I know are same size or smaller.  Any tips would be great.  I am 1 hr. north of Chicago and don't care about driving.
