How do the people on here flip so many houses

Question

In my area houses will sit for a long time before they sell.  How do these people flip 20+ houses per year while waiting for properties to sell?

Always price the recently renovated house 10% below market for a quick flip.

Rather flip more homes and get consistent singles, then trying for a home run.

One way to find the hedge funds in your area, see who is paying cash for properties in your area. You can pull this in MLS Then look up in tax records for LLC.  One hedge fund in the Raleigh area is America Homes for rent.  They have bought hundreds here.  Another way is word of mouth.  Speak with local attorney's or home inspectors as well.

Houses will almost always sell if priced slightly below market and they are in financeable shape.  Flippers get in trouble when they try to beat the market because their house is so nice.

That's about it...  Sounds like you are certainly missing the first piece (the healthy market), and without that, there's no much you can do...

Dean Letfus - you mentioned hedge fund buyers in your post. How would one go about tapping into that market, or at the very least finding a hedge fund manger to work with?

This is pretty much it.  You have to get very creative in a SLOW market.  In a normal market, they usually fly off the shelf.
