Personal Branding website for agents

Hi everybody! 

I’ve got a few questions regarding a personal website for real estate agents..

1: is IDX necessary on a personal website? 

As far as I know it’s necessary for a brokerage to list all of their agents listings but an agent could easily upload their own listings manually and keep it up to date, am I wrong here? 

2: Can you do a giveaway in order to build a social following and build your email list? 

I can imagine there are legalities involved and such,.. also, have you ever did this and was it successful? 

3: Are there any disclaimers real estate websites need to have? 

4: What are some must haves for a personal branding websites?

5: Do you have your own personal branding website and would you mind sharing yours in the comment section?
