Yo BiggerPockets admins I've got a Million Dollar idea here.

BP should only allow posts looking for recommendations in the classifieds. There are literally thousands and thousands of posts like

- I need a PM in Cleveland

- I need a Realtor in Baltimore

- I need a contractor in Detroit

- I need a therapist in LA

- I need a podiatrist in Vermont

Then of course the only responses to these countless threads are people recommending their business associates along with blatant and semi blatant self promotion. As a self proclaimed self promotion expert I say we'd all benefit from this change.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am actually actively working to identify how best to handle these queries and what constitutes self promotion. We definitely want to help people connect with solid vendors and teams, but don't want the forums to be "salesy", just solid content.

I'm open to other ideas as well. Looking to have a solution implemented by the end of the year.
