From LA to Virginia, appreciating markets

Hi all! I've been on BP for a while— I live in LA & my family is looking to migrate to Virginia to raise our kids. We want to buy a home that's STILL a good investment property because we travel a lot & can rent it out…SFH or MF is fine. What are some appreciating markets in VA & I'd love to connect with some of you all so we can get this deal done! (And more in the future!)
