Newbie in San Diego, California

Hello everyone! My name is Mike and I've lived here in San Diego county my entire life. I have no real estate experience at all. I have a lot of IT experience and I'm good with my hands. I went to a free seminar for FortuneBuilders a few weeks ago and then ended up spending $200 to go to a weekend summit. After researching using just BiggerPockets, I've learned a ton and decided not to waste any more of my time. That $200 gave me the desire to learn everything I could about investing. I spent all of my 3 day weekend going through this site and found so much useful information. It has really given me the hope that I can succeed in this. I also got some great tools from J Scott's website.

I hope to make some great connections here and maybe even somone that is local. I can't help much when it comes to real estate knowledge, but there is a lot I can do to help people and I would love to get to know all of you.
