When looking for a market to invest in, what sort of ques, signs, criteria, etc. do you look for?

depends on what you are doing buy & hold, flip, rehab, etc.

I look for:

1. Positive cashflow

2. Good schools

3. Low crime rates

4. Economic growth

5.  Good local economy

6.  Job growth or prospects

What are you goals? Mobile homes? SFR? Buy and hold? Fast turn? Fix and flip? No fixing? Do you have capital to begin? How far do you mind traveling?
