Earnest money deposit: source of funds

Hi Bigger Pockets community. When I'm buying a property, does the bank look at where my earnest money has come from or are they happy to accept it as face value i.e. do they ask to see 2 months of seasoning for the funds I used to pay the earnest money deposit?
