What is the take home % on wholesale deals?

As stated before, its whatever you can negotiate. As long as the numbers make sense for an investor, it really shouldn't matter. A true investor won't care as long as he is making enough on the deal.  There is no specific percentage because each deal is different. I have a deal closing this week or next that I setup that will profit $7k (assignment fee) on that I got under contract for $15k and I have another property that I will be lucky to make anything on (maybe $1k-$2k)that I have under contract for $30k (I'm helping the seller because she really needs it and wrong an epic letter begging for my help).  It's not only about money though.

Your wholesale profit will be determined by your ability to find and negotiate a great deal.

I have made $3,000 to $25,000 on a wholesale deal, like J Scott states, only you can determine what the numbers are.

You buy the property for $X.  You sell the property for $Y.

Your profit (assuming all closing costs are paid by the end-buyer) is $Y - $X and your % take-home would be (100% - ($X / $Y).

I don't do wholesaling, but it seems that it depends on the property.  You have values from 10K to a million, but some might be bought for half price and some for 30% off.
