Residential Lease limit in Florida is 12 months?

Quick question to my Florida Landlords,

Had a realtor inform me that for residential leases the maximum term allowed in Florida is 12 months? Is this true?

I have a tenant moving out end of November and due to higher chances of having vacancy because of the time of the year, I was thinking of implementing an 18-month lease for the future.

Thoughts? TIA
