Short term rental legal protection

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to learn more about legal protections for rental properties as I plan to expand my real estate portfolio.

I’m planning to move within the next year and currently own the home I live in. It’s a historic property that holds a lot of sentimental value for me.

My goal is to rent it out after I move. I’ve enjoyed hosting short-term rentals in the past and would love to share this home with others, as I’ve put a lot of effort into preserving it. The property is also in a desirable location.

Do you have any recommendations for legal protection or any professionals you've worked with that you would suggest?
