Lease Question on Using Biggerpockets Wisconsin Lease
Hello!
My wife and I are closing on our first property this week and we are finalizing our lease. We purchased the Biggerpockets Wisconsin Lease and making our personal changes to it.
The question is, since this lease was reviewed and commented on by a Wisconsin lawyer through Biggerpockets, do we need further attorney review or can we use it as is?
Anyone have experience using the Biggerpockets Wisconsin Lease?
Any help/direction on this is helpful.

Wisconsin Legal Blank is definitley a better choice.
But you need a lot more than just a lease:
- residential lease
- rules & regs
- lead disclosure
- smoke detector notice
- non-standard lease provisions
- pet agreement
They have pdf's but I recommend the US letter size carbon copy paper (not the long legal size paper format) and wet sign. This will be the only chance to talk to your tenant about the key points in the lease. If you have them e-sign they are never going to read more than date and rent amount. Talk about expectations, responsibilities, communication etc
