Report from the Smokies: May and June

We are pacing about even with last year's May, both in bookings and daily rates.  June is still -15%, but we expect it to end up within a few percentage points of last year.

THIS IS VERY GOOD NEWS FOR NEW INVESTORS.  We have been fighting a conveyor belt of headwinds over the last couple of years in the Smokies.  Hurricane damage to houses and roadways, oversupply, and recently, skyrocketing gas prices.  But it appears we are forming a bottom, which means 2027 could see a significant uptick in visitors to the Smokies.  There are some great deals out there from shrewd investors.

Hang in there!
