What Made You Choose Multifamily Over Other Types of Real Estate?
There are a lot of ways to invest in real estate today—single-family rentals, multifamily, commercial, industrial, self-storage, mobile home parks, land, and more.
For those who chose multifamily as their primary focus:
What made you decide that was the asset class you wanted to pursue long term?
Was it:
• scalability?
• cash flow?
• financing options?
• operational efficiencies?
• risk management?
• market demand?
• something else?
Interested hearing what attracted experienced investors to multifamily and whether that reasoning has changed over time.

Through the co-investing club I help run, we review opportunities across a variety of asset classes, and one of the reasons multifamily continues to attract so much interest is the combination of scalability and demand. People will always need a place to live, and multifamily can provide multiple income streams within a single investment.
I've also found that many investors appreciate the ability to spread risk across multiple units rather than relying on a single tenant.
