Happy 4th — what's one thing you're grateful for as a landlord this year?
Taking the day off from maintenance calls and rent ledgers. Figured I'd ask what most people won't:
What's one thing about being a self-managing landlord that you're actually grateful for this year?
For me — having full control over tenant relationships. No middleman deciding how to handle a late payment or a maintenance request. I
get to be human about it, and that's saved me more tenants than any late fee ever did.
Curious what wins you've had in 2024 that made the DIY grind worth it.
