What's the hardest part of managing your properties day to day?

Self managing a few rentals and curious what others find most frustrating about the day to day.

What keeps coming back no matter what you try? What have you attempted that didn't work?

For most people it's not one specific task — it's the constant context switching across everything.

You're going from tenant communication to maintenance decisions to financial tracking, often without a clean system tying it all together. That's what tends to wear people down over time.

The recurring issues I see are usually around:
• Maintenance coordination dragging out longer than expected
• Tenant communication becoming reactive instead of structured
• Small decisions stacking up because there’s no clear process to handle them consistently

A lot of people try tools to fix it, but tools alone don’t solve it if the underlying workflow isn’t defined. Without that, you’re still the bottleneck.
