How do you evaluate a lender's draw process when financing a rehab?

I'm curious what experienced investors value most once a project is underway.

When comparing lenders, how important are things like:

  • Draw turnaround times
  • Inspection requirements
  • Draw or inspection fees
  • Amount of documentation required
  • Ease of submitting draw requests

Has a lender's draw process ever influenced your decision to use them again, or is it mostly about getting the best rate and terms up front?

I'd be interested to hear what has worked well—and what has been frustrating—throughout a rehab.
