How do you find investor-friendly real estate agents?
In your experience what are green flags and red flags when finding investor-friendly agents? What makes a real estate agent a good fit for an investors team in your opinion? I'd love to hear your answers and any other pieces of knowledge that can be shared!

Hello Braeden,
One of the best ways to find solid investor friendly agents is HERE on BP and via online searches i.e. investor-friendly realtor/agent... then read reviews, look at past sale history, and consume their online content if applicable.
Green flags -
- They look to discover your goals, current situation, and purpose behind investing
- They can clearly explain why they're an investor-friendly agent. i.e. experience, market knowledge, supporting cast (staff, attorneys, lenders, title, etc.)
- They have processes for before, during, and after working with you
- They can tell you the differences between property types, locations, and investment strategies as they relate to YOUR goals. You want someone who could caution when necessary and advise based on the information you've shared with them
Red flags -
- Little/no experience owning, investing, or working with investors... nothing wrong with working with a newer agent as long as they have the support/backing of experienced team members AND you feel well represented
- Unresponsive agents
- Informal processes i.e. they start sending you a bunch of listings based on a short conversation
- No (or poor) systems in place for helping investors
All the best!
