Any Book Recommendations???

Question

Does anyone have any book recommendations regarding real estate investing?

Ideally ones where you ended up utilizing information you found in that book, that way I know they are proven.

Just trying to increase my knowledge any way I can.

It would be viewed by some as self serving to recommend one's own book....

Geometry and Algebra. Keep in mind, just because you took it, and passed it, in school doesn't mean you understand how you apply it to REI...and why. These are not books of minor importence.
These are probably the two most important books you will use in REI. REI is mostly math, and even the concepts in REI that don't seem like math, are in fact math. That's where the geometry comes in.

I’d start with The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner and The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller. Both are practical and helped me think more about analyzing deals, building a repeatable strategy, and actually taking action instead of just consuming information. Honestly, though, the best book is the one you can apply to your next deal.

@Garrett Keith  I also like books written by others including:

"How I Turned $1,000 into $5 Million" by Williams Nickerson (got to meet him in person, very interesting) Classic Book, I say that he is the godfather of real estate investing by average investors

"Landlording" by Leigh Robinson ( took him to dinner one on one pepered him with question after question) His book has over 500 pages and I think has 11 revised edition, its the largest selling book for landlords.

"Buy and Hold" by David Schumaker  perpetuates the concept of buy and hold forever, preassumption that you buy property worth keeping for the long haul, perhaps multi-generational.  I owned a multi-unit for 37 years, not quite forever, but a pretty long time.
