Kitchen Remodel for Best Rental Value

I’m looking to do a small remodel of the kitchen in one of my rental properties. My goal is to increase the rent and bring the property closer to current market pricing.

For those of you with dark wood or wood-look flooring, what cabinet and island colors would you recommend to get the most value and appeal to prospective tenants?

I would look at upgrading the countertops, doing white cabinets with black or brushed nickel hardware, maybe add a backsplash. If the area isn't super fancy it's not bad as it is but I think the countertops are due for an upgrade. Cabinets are not bad as they are. I would go as fancy as the comps and neighboring rentals are. If it's a nicer area you'll need to upgrade more compared to a C area
