Virginia Beach & Hampton Roads Investor + Real Estate Agent

Hey everyone!

Checking in from Virginia Beach and the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

I’m a real estate investor and licensed Virginia real estate agent serving Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, and the surrounding Hampton Roads market. I got into real estate investing first and eventually decided to get my real estate license as well.

Today, I own 4 investment properties totaling 5 rental units, including single-family homes, townhomes, and a duplex. My primary strategy is buy-and-hold real estate, with a focus on finding properties that offer a combination of cash flow, equity, appreciation potential, and opportunities to add value.

My goal is pretty simple: keep growing the portfolio every year.

Being both an investor and real estate agent in Hampton Roads has been a great combination. I spend a lot of time analyzing rental income, PITI, cash flow, ARV, rehab costs, comparable sales, and off-market or distressed opportunities rather than looking at properties strictly from a traditional homebuyer perspective.

I’m also a 20-year Navy veteran, so I’m very familiar with VA loans and military real estate in Hampton Roads. One area I'm particularly interested in is using VA financing strategically for owner-occupied duplexes and small multifamily properties.

I’m always interested in connecting with other Virginia Beach real estate investors, Hampton Roads investors, landlords, wholesalers, flippers, BRRRR investors, and small multifamily investors. I’m also happy to be a local resource for anyone looking at investment properties in this market who needs boots on the ground or wants another investor’s perspective on a deal.

Looking forward to learning from everyone here, sharing what I’m seeing in the Hampton Roads real estate market, and hopefully connecting with some other investors along the way.
