Does anyone know how to read this diagram I pulled from the assessor site?

Question

An appraiser I spoke to this morning showed me some benefits from making an account with the county Assessor site, and there is tons of useful information I can use but am having trouble understanding these diagrams. I understand the numbers circled represent sq footage but do not understand what any of the letters mean, or even the 1sFr or similar. Do they mean addition, garage, patio, porch, basement?

This is helpful to me,as I buy at sheriffs auction and rarely can go inside a property before I bid. This would help me determine how many bedrooms etc etc.

under that is a B or C which is Basement or Crawl

I believe Br and Fr stand for Brick and Frame

Wd probably means wood deck

I can't say specifically, but I have seen similar on the FL assessor's sites.

The A, B, C represent the "code" as best I can tell. On mine it says "EPF" "UTF" and "Base". Right below there is a table with the square footages that match those on the drawing and EPF is Enclosed Finished Porch, UTF is Utility Finished.

Another county over has some similar drawings but the table pops up with the drawing BAS, FGR, FOP. BAS is Base, FGR is Finished Garage and FOP is Finished Open Porch.

The 3rd county I couldn't pull up directly right now, but I remember that some of the codes on the drawings identified the construction material. Like concrete block or wood frame. So using that one you could identify which areas were built using which materials.

I know that doesn't directly answer your question but I'd bet there is a table somewhere that lists the codes and what type of area or material they corrospond to.
