New buy and hold investors - Memphis, TN

Hello all,

My name is Jordan Mack, one third of a three-man group that recently formed a new real estate investment LLC. We are all naval officers: one in Ames, IA (me), one in Memphis, TN and one in Charlottesville, VA. Two submariners and one surface warfare guy. We are excited to purchase our first property (likely a single family home, or perhaps a duplex) in the near future. We are focusing on the Memphis area, but will all be moving (who knows where) in about a year. I've already learned a ton on the forums and listening to the podcast, so thank you BP community!
