Is Wholesaling Possible in the Baton Rouge Area

Hello I'm a beginner investor trying to take action but I have moved to Baton Rouge, LA for a new job and I've always wanted to find my place in real estate I always saw so many people say that wholesaling is a good place to start when you are new to investing because of lower risk my question here is it possible to find deals as a wholesaler in Baton Rouge, LA????
