Professional Referrals Requested - CPA and Bookkeeper Needed in LA Area

Please let me know if you may have referrals for an investor-friendly CPA and bookkeeper in the Los Angeles area.

My wife and I both retired from W2 jobs and we are starting a small business to rent an ADU early next year as an MTR. We need help with setting up the accounting part of our business, managing the day-to-day finances, and filing taxes. Our first goal will be to rent the ADU but our second goal will be to rent a lake house in Vermont as an STR. Future projects could include flips or rentals in other states.

Thank you very much for any help that you can offer.

You posted this in the tax forum where we have 20+ highly qualified tax professionals. All of us are answering questions here and providing help. Most if not all of us work remotely across multiple states, including California of course; being local is not necessary in 2025.

One thing we are NOT allowed to do here is to respond to you with: "I will be happy to help you" - it is considered a prohibited "self-promotion" by Bigger Pockets rules. Likewise, we cannot send you a private message and offer help, however some people will do so anyway.

If/when the moderators move this post to the Classifieds section, then I and my colleagues will be able to offer help explicitly. Until then, the ball is in your corner, and here're some tips: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/51/topics/1222774-expla...
