What is a NUANS report?

Hey all,

What is NUANS report? Can I get some details about this? This was a new information for me and I’m so excited to know about this. I got that when I checked for business name search in Ontario . Has anyone noticed this? Need your comments.

Along with this, I would also like to know the advantages of incorporating in Canada incorporation over the provincial incorporation.

I hope the business experts here can definitely help me in this.

Waiting for the answers to these two questions.

Your replies will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

A NUANS report is simply a business name search that is required to register or incorporate a business federally and provincially (most, anyway). It is used to determine the availability of a name.

If you incorporated manually (without a 3rd party service) through the government website, you would have had to provide a NUANS report number as the report is required.

Try checking out these links to learn more about the difference between federal and provincial incorporation.
