I moved here to Fort Saint John, BC a few months ago from Ontario. I'm not seeing anything to get excited about in this region so far.

A NUANS report is simply a business name search that is required to register or incorporate a business federally and provincially (most, anyway). It is used to determine the availability of a name.

If you incorporated manually (without a 3rd party service) through the government website, you would have had to provide a NUANS report number as the report is required.
