Hello, I don’t know if this is a stupid question, but what’s the universal size dumpster for any remodel, from cosmetic to full gut? Better to be safe then sorry. How much should I be spending? I’m in Houston, Tx by the way

 they are typically 10, 15, 20 and 30 yard dumpsters. Price is not much more for the larger size because most of the cost is in the transport. Depending on size of house as mentioned will depend on size of dumpster, and its possible you may need more than one pulled.
