Buying first property with LLC

Preston Burto
Posted

I'm buying my first rental property with a new LLC I set up. Closing is tomorrow and I'm getting the cashiers check today. Do I get the check in the LLC name and then just sign my personal name at closing? Or get it in personal and sign with personal?
Rookie question I’m sure. Thanks.
Also I’m the sole owner of the LLC.

Hi Preston. Congratulation! The first one is always fun. You do everything in the LLC name, you want to maintain the separation between LLC and personal. Good Luck
