Starting Out and No more cold feet.
Hi everyone,
I'm Rolando Prieto, 30 years old, I'm living in Houston, TX, I had opportunities to invest I have read books most of them from BiggerPockets very helpful but always I get cold feet, looking to go forward and start my journey as a real estate investor, I'm looking to start flipping houses since I have experience on construction and to start building some capital for future rental properties. Let me know some meetings coming up to start knowing people on the business or a mentor who can help me.
Thank you!

Hi Rolando,
You should ask yourself why you are getting the cold feet. It could be you are worried about what others will think of you. Maybe you are worried about losing money. It might help to talk to investors about their worst deal. Everybody has one eventually. Chances are, it seemed really bad at the time, but looking back, they learned a lot. If you have $10,000 to invest and have a bad deal, it is unlikely you lose it all. I did a flip once and lost 8k on a 160k project. That was no fun but the 8k was worth it for all I learned. Good luck in your future investing.
