No bullshit guides

Hi,

Here is yet another post from a complete newbie.

I am not looking for any podcast, get rich quick scheme or any mumbo-jumbo trying to sell the idea of financial freedom with 10 tips.

I am looking for genuine, free, useful information.

Are there any guides or resources you have used to kick start your learning in this field?

I am sure all of you experts have come across something like this and if they only answer is you have to unclog enough toilets until your hands turn brown then so be it.

Cheers

Real estate is a huge topic.  There are many ways to make money.  You first need to specify what you want to focus on.   Otherwise, its like asking for someone to help you get good at sports.  Which sport?  Basketball, fishing, and bowling are all sports but getting good at basketball probably doesn't help you with the others.

Once you narrow that down you may find that the best information is something you will have to pay for.  If someone is going to go to the trouble of organizing all that information, usually they want some sort of compensation.  When BP was created, it was all about "free information" but now you can see they charge for memberships, books, seminars, and an annual conference.
